Prestige Diagnostics are based in Northern Ireland, which gives us a unique ability to supply both UK & EU markets, with In-Vitro Diagnostic equipment.

The UK and EU wanted to avoid a hard border between the two parts of Ireland following Brexit. Therefore it was decided that Northern Ireland would remain part of the European single market. The terms of this agreement are set out in the Northern Ireland Protocol.

What that means for Prestige Diagnostics is that we can distribute products to both Great Britain and the EU with equal ease. There are no customs checks, tariffs or additional paperwork involved. Northern Ireland is now the only location in Europe from which this is possible.

Manufacturers in England, North America and the Republic of Ireland are moving to Northern Ireland, or considering it, in order to benefit from this situation. IVD manufacturers and distributors that make use of our manufacturing, warehousing or distribution services benefit from it, too.
